The newest addition to the Cleveland Skyline, the Carl B. Stokes Federal Courthouse building is 21 stories (430 ft. tall) and utilizes a stone veneer on steel truss facade system. The facade consists of 300,000+ sf of limestone, granite, custom aluminum curtainwall with high performance glass and metal panels. Additionally, there is handset stone at the base of the building and the main entrance. The main entrance ("rotunda") of the building features large custom fabricated cubic stone pieces along with a curved glass transom which highlights the entrance to the building. Ajay Glass was contracted for the design, engineering, fabrication and erection of the entire exterior wall system.
